My AC broke down a couple days before before the 4th of July. As you know this has been one of THE Hottest summers on record. Border has always been my Go To contractor for HVAC and water heaters. They told me they were totally booked into August. But then they worked me into their schedule three weeks sooner than expected. Wow! Great experience. AC went out this summer and furnace needed replaced as well. Border was recommended by family as they have used Border for over 25 years. The tech was right in time, straight-forward, kind, knowledgeable, and I felt very comfortable with his assessment and proposal. Border had the best price as well! To our surprise they were able to install same week and our AC was blasting for a huge heat wave. The front desk was helpful as well. Highly recommend Border! It’s is very clear that they are good at their job.

I am writing this review in the midst of a weeklong heatwave. Our AC unit failed to work when we kicked it on at the start of the heatwave. We called Border for help. Despite an avalanche of calls from customers with AC problems they were able to work us into their busy schedule. Ben came by and quickly diagnosed a bad coil within the system. Despite our HVAC system being a brand they do not install, they were able to determine the coil was still under warranty and obtain the new coil within a matter of two days. LeAnn and the gals in the front office then worked us back into their already saturated schedule and they now have us up and running with cool air. Ben communicated with us at every step. He knows what the heck he is doing; friendly, knowledgeable, hard-working and professional. Best of all, the cost of the repair was less than we anticipated. We will be calling them for all of our future HVAC needs. I highly recommend this company.

My air conditioner was blowing air but it wasn’t cold and it’s July and around 100 degrees. I do a lot of DIY around my home and property but after watching some YouTube videos I decided that this HVAC situation was more than I wanted to dive into. So I called Border and Ben came out the next day. He was very nice and explained everything he was doing. He located the issues and fixed the problems: one of which was a refrigerant shortage of 3 pounds. After checking everything out, cleaning the unit and adding refrigerant Ben gave me a few tips on keeping things running smoothly. Overall a great experience and I am very glad my house is nice and cool for the hot summer days. I know who to call for any future issues or maintenance jobs that seem beyond the DIY level I feel comfortable with.

Dan savage delivered us the best service we have ever received from a heating and cooling company so far. We had reached out to Borders for a second opinion and Dan actually took the time to run through our system without just immediately resorting to selling us something we don’t need. This company is run by great people! I purchased the best quality, entirely new , system for the best price around. I added A/C to my furnace only set-up; replaced my 25 year old furnace and now I'll be staying cool and comfortable all summer as well as warmer and more even temp in winter. Jeff, Tyler, Tim, Jake, Dan and Myron from BORDER Sheet Metal & Heating were great!Their rep came out last fall and gave us a reasonable quote for mini splits, which we scheduled to do in the Spring. They came out this morning, did the install and were finished in just a few hours. Their work was excellent - they were efficient, precise and were extremely careful and conscientious about working on our 1946 family cabin. All of the guys were polite, kind and helpful, testing each unit and then explaining how to use the system and telling me to call if I had any questions or concerns. I would not hesitate to recommend BORDER and the team to anyone looking to do heating or cooling work.

First off, sales guy Dave did a great job explaining options. Because of new space available came up with a plan to move the air filter into a better place.The installers came right on time. Took out the old, put in the new, adapted the fittings, filter, and condensate pump into better places.Showed my how to run the new thermostat.Super job overall.
